Cao Thang Technical College was honored to welcome representatives of the ETAC - ABET committee to visit and award the certificate of accreditation standards of ABET for four training programs.

      The ETAC Committee representatives visiting CTTC included Dr. Scott Danielson from Arizona State University, Ms. April Cheung from Purdue University, Dr. John Sammarco.

      Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Dinh Kha – principal of CTTC thanked Dr. Scott Danielson for his support over the past 13 years, thanked Dr. John Sammarco for his comments during the mock visit in 2015, and thanked Ms. April Cheung for her comments – who served as the team chair of the evaluation team during the official visit for two programs, Electrical - Electronics Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology.

      Dr. Le Dinh Kha did not forget to thank his predecessors, Dr. Dao Khanh Du and Mr. Nguyen Cong Thanh - who laid the foundation for CTTC to achieve these current achievements. He also sent special thanks to the staff and lecturers of CTTC who have made every effort to bring an international quality education to students, so that CTTC can become one of the leading schools in the country in terms of training high-quality technical human resources.

      “This is a school that I love the most,” Dr. Scott said at the ceremony, “not because of your kindness, but because you always want to learn, always want to improve towards the best quality for students. I am very proud of the collective of leaders and lecturers here. From the first two accreditation programs in 2017 to the four accreditation programs this time (including two re-accreditation programs and two new accreditation programs), there has not been a single weakness or any concern.

       I am proud and honored to work with the team from the board of leadership to the team of lecturers who have determined to dare to think, dare to do and you have done it, to become the second school in the system of universities and colleges in Vietnam to achieve ABET certification of accreditation for the first time in 2017. So now, there are no barriers or difficulties for you to step out into the world to affirm the quality of training. Once again, congratulations to CTTC on four accredited programs, including two programs that have been re-accredited (Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology) and two newly accredited programs (Automobile Engineering Technology, Thermal Engineering Technology).”

      This is the second time Cao Thang Technical College has become the first and only college in Vietnam to be recognized by the ETAC committee of ABET - USA for quality accreditation for 4 training programs.
