A. Program Educational Objectives

In two to three years after graduation, graduates will be able to:

1. Become a team leader who is responsible for problems relating to installation, repair and operation of  Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC&R) systems, technical and sales consulting in the fields of HVAC&R; a member of design team in the field of air conditioning systems, industrial refrigeration systems and food drying machine.

2. Keep learning to improve professional level to meet the needs of job.

3. Behave professionally in the workplace.


B. Student Outcomes

After graduating from Thermal Engineering Technology program, students will be able to:

(SO1) an ability to apply knowledge, techniques, skills and modern tools of mathematics, science, engineering, and technology to solve well-defined engineering problems appropriate to the discipline.

(SO2) an ability to design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the engineering design of systems, components, or processes appropriate to the discipline.

(SO3) an ability to apply written, oral, and graphical communication in well-defined technical and non-technical environments; and an ability to identify and use appropriate technical literature.

(SO4) an ability to conduct standard tests, measurements, and experiments and to analyze and interpret the results

(SO5) an ability to function effectively as a member of a technical team
