Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
Within 2 to 3 years after graduation, graduates are expected to:
- Key members of engineering teams, capable of operating, monitoring, inspecting, and technically evaluating semiconductor integrated circuit manufacturing processes particularly in assembly, test, and packaging (ATP), while meeting production requirements and quality standards in industrial environments.
- Core contributors in design and development teams, demonstrating competencies in electronic circuit design, embedded systems programming, and IoT applications, as well as the ability to deploy practical solutions for both consumer and industrial sectors in alignment with automation trends and Industry 4.0.
- Possess strong technical English proficiency, along with professional industrial work ethics and discipline, enabling effective performance in high-tech environments; additionally, demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning, continuous professional development, and adaptability to the evolving semiconductor and electronics industry.
Student Outcomes
Upon graduation, students will be able to
- Apply knowledge, techniques, skills, and modern tools from mathematics, science, engineering, and technology to solve engineering problems in the fields of semiconductors and integrated circuits.
- Conduct standard testing, measurement, and experimentation procedures, as well as analyze and interpret the obtained results effectively.
- Communicate effectively through written, oral, and visual means in both technical and non-technical environments; additionally, demonstrate the ability to search for, identify, and efficiently utilize relevant technical documents in English.
- Work effectively as a member of an engineering team.
- Operate, monitor, inspect, and technically evaluate processes in semiconductor integrated circuit assembly, packaging, and testing.
- Program and deploy applications on microcontrollers and FPGAs, leveraging them effectively in the design and development of embedded systems and IoT solutions.
- Design, fabricate, assemble, and test electronic circuits (PCBA), and implement electronic products and systems for both consumer and industrial applications in compliance with technical requirements and quality standards.
