On the crucial concern of current enterprises and the real requirement of approaching high-tech instruments in industrial maintenance from both lecturers and students, especially for CNC Machines with high accuracy standards which should have instant errors during the working process (i.e., high tolerance for CNC machine and its details…). For preventing and detecting errors on CNC Machines, we need to have such a professional alignment instrument to get the best troubleshooting solution in every specific circumstance.

     For the above purpose, on May 25th, 2022, in the cooperation between Mechanical Department and Vietnam Laser Alignment CO. Ltd (VLA), we conducted a workshop under the subject "Accuracy Evaluation on CNC Machining".

      During the workshop, Mr. Tran Bao An, VLA's Technical Supervisor presented all features and functions, and a range of applications of QC20 Ballbar and Renishaw XL 30, which are used in alignment and accuracy evaluation for CNC Machines.

      The workshop has been taken place in such an interesting atmosphere, VLA's specialist presented and showed how to use Renishaw instruments, directly on CNC Emcomat 450MC at C1.1 of the Mechanical Department.

     During the workshop, lecturers and students gave many questions to discuss and VLA's specialist gave all answers on how to use, how to set up the instrument, and how to read all measured data.

    With interesting and useful content, Vietnam Laser Alignment CO. Ltd (VLA) and its products brought positive effects, offering an opportunity for all lecturers and students in approaching, and updating knowledge of high-tech instruments in professional industrial maintenance.
