ACCOUNTING STUDENTS UNDERTAKE A TOUR TO FPT CORPORATION

With the intention to educate students to be able to handle accounting jobs at every type of businesses after graduation, the Economics Faculty not just mainly focus on teaching theory along with practice. The Faculty even integrate real problems, case studies into the practical subjects so that students can flexibly apply to solve future tasks. Through the input from businesses, lecturers and alumni, the Faculty decided to include a practice class where students are visit organizations. The purpose of this class is to allow students to have a realistic idea about how business work so that that they can be well prepared after graduating.

The Faculty has organized a tour to FPT Corporation for 2 accounting , which are classes 22A and 23B. As Mr Nguyen Khanh Toan - Deputy Head of the Economics Faculty claimed “The reason why we have this class for first and second-year students but not senior ones is because we want our students to expose to the real working environment at the earliest time. From that they will understand the working demand and then design their own learning plan to meet that.”

During the tour, the Accounting students are firstly have chance to see FPT Software Campus (F-town 3), which has such modern quality with international standard.

After 45 minutes, the students gathered at Cửu Long Hall to being shared about various experiences by Mr Vu Thanh Tuan (Head of Recruitment Department, FPT Software HCM) from how to write CV to all the necessary skills for students after graduate.

Following Mr. Tuan's presentation, the students had the chance to converse, inquire about the workplace, policies and benefits at Fsoft, and received helpful feedback plus delightful gifts

The visit provided Accounting students with many exciting practical experiences, allowing them to obtain more knowledge and a detailed orientation for their studies in order to attain career aspirations.
