Organizing the annual Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) workshop is one of the most significant and purposeful activities. Thereby, Dean, Vice Dean, Head and all lecturers of the Faculty of Heat - Refrigeration Technology could summarize contributive proposals from enterprises about the facilities as well as the curriculum so as to implement continuous improvements and ensure the program educational objectives, student outcomes to meet the needs of society.

At 7:30 A.M, on March 23rd, 2022,  Faculty of  Heat - Refrigeration Technology, Cao Thang Technical College hosted an Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) Workshop.

Attendees consist of: Dean, Vice Dean, Head and all lecturers of Faculty of Heat – Refrigeration Technology with the IAB representitives.

In order to objectively assess and contribute about the facilities and curriculum. Firstly, IAB visited laboratory facilities and were introduced to the purpose of each lab by the lecturers.

At the beginning of the Workshop, Dr. Le Quang Huy represented to introduce and express a thanks to IAB and the Cao Thang’s alumni for attending the Workshop.

The representatives agreed with their appraisals that the facilities are good, diverse, and up –to-date. Those are the most important factors to qualify the training requirements of the faculty of Heat-Refrigeration Technology.

During the Workshop, the IAB praised the students’ energy as well as their skills studying and practicing in the faculty of Heat-Refrigeration Technology of the Cao Thang Technical College. Moreover, the IAB also pointed out problems needing to be improved and updated, such as English for thermal engineering technology, specialized software, customer service skills, etc.

After summarizing the assessments and contributive ideas from the IAB, MSc. Ngo Thi Minh Hieu concluded and appreciated the feedbacks of IAB.

The four-hour Workshop successfully took place and summed up issues about the facilities and curriculum of the faculty of Heat-Refrigeration technology. It is the key for developing and fulfilling the goal of achieving ABET accreditation for training program.
